"Hey Judy, Just wanted to pass along to everyone that I love to paint. I painted my first picture back in August and was amazed that I had a completed painting at the end of the class. I have had many compliments on it, and everyone seems to think I have this "hidden" talent which I don't. My girlfriend and I paint as often as we can, and we both love it. I hope I am still painting when I turn 100(I'm 59 now)!" Thanks, Faye
"Judy, thanks so much for your help the other night. I am so thankful that you used to be my boss, but found your other dream to be a painter. Now I am having that same dream. This is one of the most fulfulling things I have done in my life beside having my children. I love it and talk to everyone about painting. I always said I could not even draw a stick figure and still can't but I think I am doing great with painting and have so many more years to keep learning". Meg

"Years ago I saw a Bob Ross program and said that would be something I would like to do when I retired. Eight days after I retired with great plans of travel, fishing ,boating my husband had the first of 5 major surgeries beginning that summer ending all the "I want to plans" we had work toward for years. I saw add for painting class with heading being So You Think You Can't Paint. Having no art talent I ask God to help me learn a technique that would help me enjoy painting. I attended 3 sessions of 6 weeks classes. I knew God had answered my prays because Joan begin the class with how God had answer her pray about painting. As always when God answers prays he gives you more than you ask for. He opened the doors to Joan's classes and a few months later a couple place their membership at the Church I attend after becomes friends I learned she paints. She has helped me learn techniques and some of the ladies at Church now meet on Wed. afternoon to do some kind of craft we are interested in. Then one day standing in Michael's I saw your painting and I knew God had sent me three ladies to help me learn how to paint. Also, I have a whole group of painting buddies including my Daughter now. So in the short of this I asked God for help and he sent me 3 wonderful Ladies.. There is just no way I can fully tell you what you mean to me except to say God put us together". Juanita
"Since grammar school I have been convinced that I had no artistic talent. Nevertheless, I have had a growing desire to paint with oils ... a desire I have not acted upon until recently. My first wet-on-wet painting experience with Judy Moore-Gist was fantastic, especially since I completed a beautiful painting in one day! For a week thereafter, I kept going into my den to look at my first painting both during the day and even in the middle of the night! Since then I have painted about 15 paintings with Judy, and many of them are good enough that my wife and I have framed them and hung them in our home.
